Highly rated AS Monaco defender Kamil Glik has emerged as a transfer target for a number of Serie A clubs, it is being reported by the French media.
France Football has it that Torino, Lazio and Sampdoria are keeping close tabs on the powerful 30-year-old centre back who had already played in Italy for Palermo, Bari and Torino, respectively, before moving to France in 2016.
Glik is contracted to AS Monaco until 2021 but could end up leaving the Principality club if they fail to clinch the Champions League spot.
A place in Europe’s elite competition is what Lazio want to use to lure Glik over to Rome, whereas Torino will have a say in this race with a three-year deal and a coaching role offer once he decided to hang up his boots.
A move to Sampdoria is described as the ‘least possible option’ for the Pole, France Football reports.
