Serie A star cools off transfer talk

Cesena midfielder Marco Parolo says he is unmoved by reports linking him with a host of Serie A clubs.

The 27-year-old is widely tipped to leave Cesena for a bigger club in January, with Lazio, Fiorentina and Udinese all keen.

However, the player reveals he is fully focused on his current club.

“I don’t want to think about these things otherwise I’ll run the risk of distracting myself,” Parolo told the Il Corriere dello Sport.

“I have an excellent relationship with president Igor Campedelli and if anything new regarding my future pops up then we will discuss it.

“However, one thing is for sure – as long as I wear the colours of Cesena then I will continue to give my all for this club.”
