Serie A star welcomes transfer talk

Atalanta midfielder Ezequiel Schelotto says he is already used to being linked with numerous clubs in January.

The 22-year-old is attracting a lot of attention with his performances this season, with Inter and Roma reportedly interested in his services.

“I’ve always been talked about in January ever since I arrived here in Italy,” SChelotto told the Eco di Bergamo.

“I’m just concentrating on Atalanta and having a great Christmas with my family. There are better informed people than me to talk about the transfer market – there is the club and my agent.

“I know nothing about a move. I have a contract until 2015 and if the club say that they don’t want to sell their players then it means they love me.

“It’s nice to know that great clubs are interested in me, but I don’t want to talk about the transfer market.”
