Serie A the best league in the world, says Riise

Roma left-back John Arne Riise is ready to make his comeback from an injury he sustained during the game with Palermo on January 28.

“The Italian league has the highest standard [of football in the world]. I have clearly improved [as a player] and I am still doing so now,” Riise said about his first months in the Eternal City in an interview with Norwegian website AsRoma.No.

“My first goal in Giallorosso? I haven’t really thought about that yet. I am busy focusing on my defensive duties and I have not had many chances so far. I am a patient man”.
