Alessandro Del Piero fired the undefeated Juventus back on top of the Serie A table with a late winner against Lazio on Wednesday.
Substitute Del Piero struck an 82nd-minute free kick to clinch the 2-1 victory and put Juventus one point ahead of title rivals AC Milan with six games remaining.
Simone Pepe scored first for Juventus with one of the goals of the season in the 30th minute, before Stefano Mauri equalised on the stroke of half-time.
The win extends Juventus’ unbeaten streak to 36 games in all competitions this season, while Lazio remain third in the Serie A standings.
Meanwhile, Francesco Totti and Brazilian forward Marquinho both scored in a frantic finish against Udinese to lift Roma to fifth and in contention for a Champions League spot next season.
Pablo Osvaldo opened proceedings for Roma in the eighth minute, before Gelson Fernandes levelled for Udinese on 44 minutes at the Stadio Olimpico.
Roma pushed for three points and were rewarded when Totti broke the deadlock on 86 minutes and Marquinho sealed the 3-1 victory deep into injury time.
Napoli slipped to sixth and outside of the European berths after they were upset 3-1 by Atalanta, while Inter Milan moved to seventh with a 2-1 win against Siena.
Only goal difference separates Napoli and Inter, who are both locked on 48 points.
In other games, Leece gave their survival hopes a boost with a 2-1 win against Catania and bottom-placed Cesena earned a point in a 1-1 draw at Genoa.
Parma defeated Novara 2-0 and Fiorentina hosted Palermo in a 0-0 draw.
