Sevilla after Liverpool’s Lucas

(GSM) – Sevilla are reportedly eager to make a move for Liverpool midfielder Lucas when the transfer window opens in January.

The Spanish club are keen to bolster their squad after Tiberio Guarente was sidelined, and the Brazilian midfielder may be available as he is reportedly ‘unsettled’ at Anfield because of the lack of first-team opportunities.

Liverpool boss Roy Hodgson could be tempted to cash in on Lucas in order to fund his own transfer plans this winter.

Sevilla have also been linked with Lucas’ teammate and their former midfielder Christian Poulsen.
