Europa League holders Sevilla have reached an agreement with Sporting CP for Peruvian winger Andre Carrillo, Estadio Deportivo has learned.
Los Rojiblancos decided to make a move on their long-term target after it became clear that he would not be extending his contract at Estadio Jose Alvalade.
With his deal due to expire in June and the player currently banned from attending Sporting training facilities, the January exit would be the best solution for all the parties concerned.
Sevilla have reportedly agreed to pay €4 million for the Peru hotshot, while they would also send Diego Figueiras to Estadio Jose Alvalade.
And while the Portuguese defender, currently on loan at Genoa, wouldn’t mind joining the Lions, los Rojiblancos still need to reach an agreement with Carrillo.
Valencia and few other top clubs are believed to be keen on the 24-year-old winger, who reportedly has high wage demands that could put his expected move to Sevilla in danger.
