Sevilla agree deal for Luciano Vietto

Europa League holders Sevilla are on the verge of signing Argentine striker Luciano Vietto from Atletico Madrid, Marca can reveal.

Los Rojiblancos are almost certain to cash in on Kevin Gameiro in the coming days, as the Frenchman is close to joining Barcelona.

And they appear to have already found him a replacement, as Luciano Vietto is nearing a move to Estadio Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan.

According to Marca, Sevilla have agreed to pay €3 million for a season-long loan, while the deal will also include a €20 million buy-out clause.

Despite struggling for playing time while at Atletico Madrid, Vietto is still held in high regard by top Spanish clubs, having impressed during his debut La Liga season with Villarreal.

The 22-year-old had scored 12 goals in 32 league outings for the Yellow Submarine, but could then register just one goal in 19 league appearances for los Colchoneros.
