Estadio Deportivo has learned that La Liga high-flyers Sevilla will soon complete the signing of Argentine midfielder Walter Montoya from Rosario Central.
Los Rojiblancos are believed to have reached an agreement for the right-sided midfielder who can also operate in the middle of the park, but they will allow the 23-year-old to finish the season in Argentina.
Motoya’s agent confirmed to TyC Sports that he was set to present an offer from Sevilla to Rosario Central leaders, believed to be around €5 million.
Los Rojiblancos boss Jorge Sampaoli has reportedly been impressed with the talented footballer and he wants him to be a part of his squad for the 2017/2018 season.
Walter Montoya has spent his entire career so far at Rosario Central, featuring in 46 league matches and scoring 3 goals.
His suitors Sevilla will be looking to make it six league victories in a row when they face Espanyol on the road, and they are 5/6 to succeed in their quest.
