Sevilla are set to complete the signing of Club Brugge attacker Carlos Bacca, Spanish newspaper Marca has revealed.
Los Rojiblancos have met the €7 million asking price and sporting director Ramon Rodriguez Monchi has travelled to Amsterdam to conclude the deal.
Bacca has joined the Belgian side for pre-season training in Manchester, but he is now expected to fly to Sevilla to undergo a medical.
The Colombia international arrives at Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan as a replacement for Alvaro Negredo, who is widely tipped to leave the club in the coming weeks.
Bacca has only spent one and a half years at Club Brugge having joined the club from Colombian side Junior, but he exploded onto the biggest stage last season.
The 26-year-old scored no less than 25 goals in 35 league matches for the Belgian giants, and he seems to have done enough to earn himself a move to one of Europe’s strongest leagues.
