Sevilla and Real Betis are both keen on Hoffenheim striker Joselu, according to Spanish newspaper Marca.
The German side purchased the forward for €6 million from Real Madrid last summer, but the investment hasn’t exactly paid off.
Joselu went on to score just 5 goals in 23 appearances for Hoffenheim, with the Germans now hoping to resell him in the summer.
According to Marca, Sevilla and Real Betis are ready to take advantage of the situation and offer the player a chance to return to Spain.
The local rivals are set to stay without a number of first team regulars in the summer and hope to sign Joselu in an attempt to rebuild the squad.
Real Madrid can use the clause in his contract to sign him for €9 million at the end of the current campaign, but it is highly unlikely they will exercise the option.
With Hoffenheim likely to get relegated to the second division, Joselu could be available at a cut-back fee.
