French media outlet L’Equipe has suggested that La Liga giants Sevilla and Valencia are showing interest in Marseille defender Doria.
The Brazilian only joined this summer from Botafogo, but he has yet to be handed his debut at Stade Velodrome.
With the player clearly not in the first team plans of coach Marcelo Bielsa, he is being heavily linked with a January exit.
According to L’Equipe, Sevilla and Valencia have expressed their desire to lure the 20-year-old to Spain, with loan deal until the end of the season likely to appeal to all the parties concerned.
Doria arrived at Marseille as one of South America’s hottest prospects, but the problem is new coach Marcelo Bielsa was not consulted by the club chiefs.
As a result, the talented footballer has been on the fringes at Stade Velodrome, and he is highly unlikely to get much needed playing time for as long as the Argentine coach is at the club.
