La Liga giants Sevilla have the option to turn Roque Mesa’s loan deal into permanent move, it has been revealed.
The 28-year-old joined los Rojiblancos on loan until the end of the season after a disappointing start to his career at Swansea City.
Las Palmas chairman Miguel Angel Ramirez has moved to reveal that Sevilla have the option to make the transfer permanent for €7 million.
Even though his side had the right of first refusal, the Las Palmas president decided to respect the player’s wish and let him join los Rojiblancos.
Roque Mesa has made two La Liga appearances for Sevilla after arriving in January, and he could feature in tomorrow’s Champions League clash vs Man Utd, where his side are 2/1 to emerge victorious.
