La Liga giants Sevilla are keeping close tabs on Millonarios youngster Jorge Carascal, Estadio Deportivo has quoted the Italian media as saying.
Juventus were the first top side to show interest in the talented playmaker as they were reportedly close to agreeing a €3 million deal for the player’s services back in December.
However, the negotiations have since fallen through and now Sevilla are emerging as the favourites to land the 17-year-old footballer.
Despite only making two league appearances on senior level, Jorge Carascal has already been likened to Real Madrid superstar James Rodriguez.
Caracal shone at the Under-17 South American Championship back in March, but he has since made just one appearance for the Millonarios first team.
Sevilla appear ready to make their move ahead of the summer transfer window, but it remains to be seen whether Juventus will reignite their interest in the talented footballer.
