La Liga giants Sevilla have moved to confirm their interest in Manchester City wingers Nolito and Jesus Navas.
Los Rojiblancos are set for a major squad overhaul after Eduardo Berizzo replaced Jorge Sampaoli, and the two Citizens rejects appear to be top of their wish list.
Sevilla chairman Jose Castro even met with Nolito few days ago, but while he insists the meeting was accidental, he did confirm his interest in the player.
“The meeting with Nolito was casual, but if we could, we’d like to hire him,” Castro was quoted as saying by Cadena Ser.
It is no secret the club are also keen on former player Jesus Navas and Castro just confirmed what everybody already knew.
“We know what we want and what we want is to bring back Jesus Navas. He is a fantastic player.”
Both Nolito and Jesus Navas are widely expected to leave Etihad Stadium in search of regular playing time and chances are they will both be interested in moving to Sevilla.
