Spanish giants Sevilla have moved to confirm their interest in three high-profile players as they look set to continue the heavy recruitment.
Los Rojiblancos have so far signed Nolito, Sebastien Corchia, Guido Pizarro, Luis Muriel and Ever Banega, but they have no plans to stop just yet.
Sevilla officials are working on deals for Jesus Navas, Simon Kjaer and Stevan Jovetic.
“Yesterday we made a proposal to his agent and they are studying it, we are expecting a response soon,” sporting director Oscar Arias told reporters when asked about former player Jesus Navas.
“I understand that their intention is to reach an understanding with us and with the player – these kinds of situations have to be resolved as quickly as possible for the benefit of everyone involved.
“Simon Kjaer? We are working on a deal but do not want to discuss it any further as it can damage negotiations, which is always the case.
“Stevan Jovetic? He is still an option for us and whilst it has never been easy, he is a player that everyone likes and the possibility of a signing is still open.
“Steven N’Zonzi? There are no offers for him and he will stay with us.”
