Sevilla defender Jules Kounde wants Barcelona transfer

Sevilla central defender Jules Kounde wants to move to Barcelona in the summer transfer window, Mundo Deportivo. Newcastle United are reportedly interested in the 23-year-old, but the France international wants to join only Barcelona.

Newcastle are reportedly willing to pay Kounde’s €90m (£77m) release clause, but the defender has told Sevilla that he wants to move to La Liga and European giants Barcelona in the summer transfer window.

Kounde made 31 starts and one substitute appearances in La Liga for Sevilla last season, scoring two goals and providing one assist in the process. The youngster also plays five times in the Champions League and four times in the Europa League last season.
