Estadio Deportivo is reporting that Europa League holders Sevilla are showing interest in AC Milan full-back Leonel Vangioni.
The Argentine defender joined the Rossoneri in the summer on a free transfer from River Plate, but he has yet to be handed his debut.
Having been disappointed by the lack of first team opportunities, the Argentina international seems to be considering his options.
According to Estadio Deportivo, Sevilla could make a move on Vangioni as they lack cover for Sergio Escudero now that Benoit Tremoulinas is sidelined through injury.
The left-sided defender had begun his professional career at Newell’s Old Boys, but it was at River Plate that he made a name for himself, making 79 league appearances and scoring 5 goals.
Vangioni accepted an offer to join AC Milan on a free transfer back in February, but that appears to have been a poor decision judging by the start of his career in Italy.
