Estadio Deportivo understands that Europa League holders Sevilla are weighing up January move for Inter Milan defender Andrea Ranocchia.
Los Rojiblancos have decided to recruit a central defender after Marco Andreolli suffered a serious injury, and the Italy international appears to have become their number one target.
Sevilla will soon come forward with an official proposal for the experienced defender, who is almost certain to leave in January.
Namely, the 27-year-old has only started one league fixture this season and it is perfectly clear that his six-year spell with the Nerazzurri is coming to an end.
Inter will obviously not stand in the player’s way, although they want at least €8 million for the experienced centre-back.
Andrea Ranocchia has been a first team regular at Stadio Giuseppe Meazza for several years now and was even handed the captain’s armband, but the fans never really believed he was good enough to play at the highest level.
