Europa League holders Sevilla are readying a January bid for Moreirense midfielder Andre Simoes, according to A Bola.
Los Rojiblancos will stay without key midfielder Stephane M’Bia in the winter as he is set to represent Cameroon at the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations, and they see the Portuguese footballer as a decent short-term replacement.
The central midfielder has proved his worth in his first ever top flight season, having managed 2 goals and 4 assists in 12 starts.
Andre Simoes came through the youth ranks at FC Porto, but left the club as a 15-year-old and made his first senior appearance with Padroense.
After spending three years at Santa Clara, the 24-year-old joined Moreirense in the summer of 2013 and helped the club return to the elite division before impressing in Portuguese Primeira Liga.
His suitors Sevilla have enjoyed a bright start to the new season and are available at 1/1 to achieve a top 4 finish.
