Catalan daily newspaper Sport has suggested that Sevilla are considering a bid for Manchester United goalkeeper Victor Valdes.
Los Rojiblancos have lost Beto through injury and aim to recruit a new shot-stopper in the winter transfer window.
According to the latest reports from Spain, Manchester United’s Victor Valdes has emerged as their primary target.
The 33-year-old clearly has no future at Old Trafford having clashed with manager Louis van Gaal, especially now that David De Gea has extended his contract.
He has also been mentioned as a possible target for Chelsea, but no doubt that a move to Sevilla would increase his chances of regular playing time.
Victor Valdes has only made two Premier League appearances for the Red Devils since joining from Barcelona, and he has struggled to get his career back on track after suffering a difficult knee injury in March 2014.
The experienced shot-stopper has been capped 20 times by Spain and last played for La Furia Roja a year and a half ago.
