Sevilla go after a new striker

According to Marca, Sevilla are actively seeking out a new striker as they attempt to break their way back into the big time in La Liga. The Spanish side have experienced a fall from grace of sorts in the last twelve months, finishing in seventh place as a handful of teams around them continue to improve and develop.

In order to keep pace with them, it seems as if their main priority will be to bring in a new striker, with a few names standing out above the rest. Vincent Aboubakar, Pedro & Michy Batshuayi are all names that have been spoken about, and with a few weeks remaining, until the domestic season gets underway, there’s still time for Sevilla to secure a big-name transfer.

Their European campaign, however, will begin today when they play the first leg of their Europa League tie against Ujpest, who will be desperate to cause the upset.
