According to RMC Sport, Tiemoue Bakayoko could be on the market sooner rather than later with Sevilla being interested in signing him from Chelsea. Both AC Milan and Inter Milan put in major bids for the midfielder but were turned away, and now, Sevilla could throw their name into the hat – although it could depend on whether or not Steven N’Zonzi stays at the club or leaves.
The biggest question is whether or not Sevilla will be able to match his wages, but for the most part, they’ll probably want to get the deal done sooner rather than later. Bakayoko has really struggled to make much of an impression at Stamford Bridge, and after some successful spells in French football, perhaps it’ll be better for him to test things out away from England.
Sevilla will play the second leg of their UEFA Europa League qualifier against Ujpest this Thursday night.
