Europa League holders Sevilla are hot on the trail of Juventus striker Fernando Llorente, Tuttosport can reveal.
Los Rojiblancos saw key attacker Carlos Bacca join AC Milan and while they did sign Ciro Immobile on loan from Borussia Dortmund, they seem to be in the market for another centre forward.
According to Tuttosport, Sevilla hope to lure Fernando Llorente to Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan, but the striker’s €4.5 million yearly wage could prove to be a problem.
Los Rojiblancos believe they can sign the Spain international for €10 million even if Juventus value him at €12 million, but the forward will probably have to accept a pay cut in order to return to La Liga.
Real Madrid are also believed to be keen on Llorente’s services, with their new coach Rafael Benitez a big fan of the 30-year-old.
His suitors Sevilla face Barcelona in the UEFA Super Cup match tomorrow evening and they can be backed at 5/1 to lift the trophy.
