Sevilla join race for Jovetic

Sevilla are keen to win the race to sign Monaco forward Stevan Jovetic, according to Talksport.

The La Liga side are set to face competition from Premier League newcomers Brighton and Hove Albion, as they look to add more firepower as they attempt to beat the odds and remain in the top flight.

However, the twenty-seven year old may prefer to move back to Seville after enjoying a successful loan spell there just last season.

Monaco signed Jovetic from Inter Milan on a four year deal just four months ago, and has made just four appearances for the club so far with his only goal coming in a 4-0 win over Lille earlier this month.

The former Manchester City man is currently out nursing a thigh muscle strain and it remains to be seen whether Monaco would be willing to do business once he returns to the fold.
