Europa League winners Sevilla are weighing up summer move on AC Milan defender Adil Rami, Marca has suggested.
Los Rojiblancos are on the lookout for a high-profile central defender after Nico Pareja suffered a serious injury near the end of last season.
And the latest reports suggest that AC Milan stopper Adil Rami has emerged as their primary target.
Sevilla boss Unai Emery knows the Moroccan well having coached him at Valencia and he hopes to get reunited with the 29-year-old at Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan.
Rami joined AC Milan from Valencia last summer, but was unable to nail down a regular starting berth, despite making 21 league appearances.
It is believed that he wouldn’t mind returning to Spanish La Liga, with the Rossoneri ready to let him leave for €4 million.
Nevertheless, Sevilla do not expect to have an easy job luring Rami to Andalucia, but they have plenty of time to get the deal done before the new campaign starts.
