Spanish daily newspaper AS understands that Sevilla are keeping close tabs on FC Porto midfielder Juan Fernando Quintero.
Los Rojiblancos are in the market for midfielder reinforcements and they have now set their sights on the Colombian playmaker.
Quintero was widely regarded as one of world’s hottest prospects when he joined the Dragons from Pescara in the summer of 2013, but he just couldn’t prove his worth in Portugal.
The 24-year-old, however, appears to be getting his career back on track, with 5 goals in 10 league matches during the loan stint with Independiente Medellin alerting Sevilla boss Jorge Sampaoli.
With FC Porto hoping to cash in on the Colombia international, a summer move to Estadio Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan seems likely.
Quintero had impressed playing for los Cafeteros at the 2014 World Cup, when he scored once in three appearances, while he also netted one goal at the 2016 Summer Olympics.
