La Liga giants Sevilla are weighing up a late move for PSV Eindhoven striker Luuk de Jong, Estadio Deportivo has suggested.
Los Rojiblancos plan to add another centre forward before the transfer window closes and the Netherlands international has emerged as their top target.
Sevilla sporting director Oscar Arias spoke to PSV Eindhoven and the player’s agents last week, but there have been no new developments since.
It remains to be seen whether los Rojiblancos will come forward with an official proposal by the end of the day.
The 27-year-old scored impressive 46 league goals in the first two seasons after joining the club, but he only managed 8 last term.
De Jong has yet to start a league fixture this term, and there is a chance he will be leaving in the coming hours.
