Veteran Sevilla keeper Andres Palop has put pen to paper a new contract that will see him stay at Estadio Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan till 2013. The 36 year old has become one of the most important members in the Sevilla squad since joining the Andalusian outfit from Valencia in 2005.
Palop’s original Sevilla contract was due to expire next season. In his time at Sevilla, he has won two UEFA Cups, one UEFA Super Cup, two Spanish Cups and one Spanish Super Cup.
Palop made only 40 odd appearances for his home club Valencia in six years, but has already crossed the 150 appearance barrier with Sevilla.
