French media outlet L’Equipe has learned that Standard Liege winger Mathieu Dossevi could be moving to a top European competition in the summer.
The 28-year-old joined the Belgian giants on loan from Olympiakos last summer, but his contract was purchased by the Red Devils this winter.
However, that does not mean that Dossevi will be staying at Stade Maurice Dufrasne for the foreseeable future.
Namely, the latest reports suggest that Europa League holders Sevilla and Premier League hopefuls Middlesbrough are both showing interest in the experienced midfielder.
Dossevi will not be available on the cheap considering that he recently signed a deal until June 2020, but Standard may be ready to consider serious offers for his services.
Prior to joining Olympiakos, the Togo international had spent his entire career in France, featuring for Ligue 1 strugglers Le Mans and Valenciennes.
Despite playing for France youth sides, Dossevi decided to represent Togo at international level and has so far earned three caps.
