Estadio Deportivo is reporting that Sevilla could make a move on Manchester United goalkeeper Victor Valdes.
Los Rojiblancos have recently expressed their interest in the former Barcelona star and they may soon come forward with an official proposal.
Namely, with Beto injured and his replacement Sergio Rico committing some costly mistakes in recent games, Sevilla could rekindle the interest in Valdes.
According to the latest reports, the veteran goalkeeper might be allowed to leave Manchester United on a free transfer and los Rojiblancos are ready to pounce in case that happens.
Sevilla did well to recruit a number of quality footballers this summer without spending too much money and they would certainly jump at the opportunity to add Valdes to that group.
Following the 2-0 loss to Juventus in their second Champions League fixture, los Rojiblancos are available at 3/1 to defeat Barcelona and return to the right track this weekend.
