La Liga hotshots Sevilla are said to be preparing an assault on Spartak Moscow forward Quincy Promes.
The Netherlands international has long been linked with a move away from the Russian heavyweights.
Champions League finalists Liverpool were one of the clubs interested in acquiring his services during the past couple of transfer windows but it now appears that Promes could be set for the La Liga move.
The Andalusian media outlets claim that Sevilla are prepared to meet the €25 million valuation of the 26-year-old and that a deal could be reached before the summer transfer window slams shut on Friday.
Promes scored a brace for Spartak in last season’s 5-1 win over Sevilla but the fact his current club would be taking part in this year’s edition of the competition could see him change clubs.
Quincy Promes is a versatile forward who mainly operates as a winger. He bagged 59 goals in 115 Russian Premier League games during his four-year stay with the Russian side.
