Sevilla rekindle interest in Rodrigo Caio

Spanish giants Sevilla have reignited their interest in Sao Paulo defender Rodrigo Caio, according to Estadio Deportivo.

Los Rojiblancos are desperately short of options at the back following injuries to Nico Pareja and Daniel Carrico, and they have no choice but to recruit a new centre-back in January,

Estadio Deportivo claims that Rodrigo Caio has emerged as one of their top targets and the good news is that the 24-year-old is hoping to move to Europe at the earliest opportunity.

The only problem is the reported €15 million asking price, which may prove too much for los Rojiblancos.

Rodrigo Caio has been on the radar of high-profile sides for quite some time, with Lazio and Napoli some of his suitors, and it remains to be seen whether they will challenge Sevilla for the player’s signature.
