Aleix Vidal fell out of favour with Luis Enrique back in September, but managed to get back in the fold for the impressive showing in the 4-0 Champions League win against Borussia Monchengladbach.
Despite the fine performance against the German side and another one against Hercules in the Copa del Rey game, Barcelona defender continues to be linked with a move away from Camp Nou.
Spanish local media were suggesting that a possible return to Sevilla could be on the cards, but Mundo Deportivo have learned that Rojiblancos have no intention of bringing back the 27-year-old right-back.
The Andalusian club are more than happy with Brazilian Mariano and Argentinean Gabriel Mercado who operate in right-back position and will not be making any approaches to lure back Vidal to Sevilla.
Aleix Vidal arrived to Barcelona back in 2015, but has so far made the mere total of 10 La Liga appearances for the Catalan club.
