Russian newspaper Izvestia has learned that Sevilla are wrapping up a deal to sign Spartak Moscow striker Ari.
The Brazilian has refused a new contract offer at the Russian club and is set to leave when his deal expires at the end of the month.
According to Izvestia, he has already agreed to join Sevilla despite interest from Turkey, Ukraine and France.
Los Rojiblancos are set to cash in on Alvaro Negredo and they believe the 27-year-old would be a good addition to the squad.
Sevilla boss Unai Emery worked with the player at Spartak Moscow and expressed desire to lure him to Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan.
Ari joined Spartak from AZ Alkmaar in February 2010 and has since clocked up 89 league appearances for the club, scoring 21 goals in the process.
Sevilla had earlier signed forward Raul Rusescu from Steaua and they are expected to continue their summer recruitment.
