Sevilla CF are set to complete the signing of Portuguese defender Diogo Figueiras from Pacos de Ferreira, according to Marca.
The deal taking the talented defender to Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan has been wrapped up and it will be made official once the player passes his medical.
Diogo Figueiras arrives at Sevilla to challenge Coke for a starting berth on the right side of defence, with club officials seeing him as a great prospect for the future.
FC Porto were also interested in signing the 22-year-old, but los Rojiblancos eventually did enough to win the race for his signature.
Figueiras desperately need to gain some first team experience having made just 21 top flight appearances in his career up to date.
The full-back began his professional career with Pinhalnovense, but it was at Pacos de Ferreira that he made a name for himself, featuring in 19 Primeira Liga matches last season.
