Sevilla are interested in signing Edinson Cavani from Manchester United in the January transfer window, according to Fichajes. Youssef En Nesyri is injured at the moment, and the La Liga club have identified the former Paris Saint-Germain striker as a potential replacement.
Cavani has had injury problems during his time at United and is also not guaranteed a place in the starting lineup due to the return of Cristiano Ronaldo from Juventus in the summer of 2021. The 34-year-old has made two starts and three substitute appearances in the Premier League so far this season, scoring one goal in the process.
The United no. 21 has provided one assist in 60 minutes in the Champions League for the Red Devils so far this season. Cavani is out of contract at Old Trafford at the end of the season, and United are unlikely to sell him in the January transfer window.
