Sevilla want Mavropanos

According to reports in Spain, Sevilla are said to be interested in signing Konstantinos Mavropanos. The 21 year old defender joined the Gunners earlier this year, with Sevilla being big admirers of his for quite some time now. He’s currently dealing with a groin injury but it seems as if the Spanish club are waiting to see whether or not he becomes a regular member of the first team at the Emirates upon returning, because if he doesn’t, the door could be open for them.

Sevilla’s club director wants to add some height into the mix at the club, but given the lack of options Arsenal currently have at their disposal, Unai Emery may not be all too interested in selling.

It makes sense for him to be reluctant, especially given that the Greek star hasn’t really been given an extended chance to showcase what he can do in North London.
