Sevilla want new striker

According to Marca, Sevilla are said to be interested in signing a new striker prior to the end of the summer transfer window. The Spanish side are aiming to bolster their squad ahead of the new season, in the wake of a poor league campaign last year that saw them finish down in 7th.

Sevilla have a series of well-known strikers in their ranks at the moment, but it seems as if they want to add a goalscoring flair to their side as opposed to forwards who are known for being more well-rounded.

On top of that, the situation with Steven N’Zonzi is believed to be far from resolved as the midfielder’s future at the club remains uncertain. It initially seemed as if Premier League side Arsenal were interested in bringing him to the Emirates, but now that the English transfer window is closed, it’s anyone’s guess regarding where he might end up.
