Sevilla are interested in signing Víctor Lindelof from Manchester United in the summer transfer window, according to Fichajes. The report has claimed that La Liga club Sevilla are on the hunt for a new defender, and that they have identified Lindelof as a potential target.
Lindelof has been on the books of United since 2017 when he joined from Benfica. The Sweden international central defender is not one of the first names on the Red Devils’ starting lineup and is a squad player under manager Erik ten Hag. The 29-year-old has made 11 starts and five substitute appearances in the Premier League so far this season, scoring one goal and providing one assist in those games.
United are sixth in the Premier League table at the moment with 44 points from 26 matches, eight points behind fourth-placed Aston Villa. Meanwhile, Sevilla currently find themselves 15th in the La Liga standings with 24 points from 26 games, six points above the relegation zone.
