Talk Sport has today revealed that Shakhtar Donetsk star Fernandinho has claimed he will be making a move to Manchester City or Manchester United in the January transfer window.
The attacker has been one of the key men in helping the Ukrainian champions to the final 16 in the Champions League and he has caught the eye of a number of big European clubs.
The Brazil international appears to be set on a move to the English Premier League and Manchester looks as though it will be where he is heading. However, it is unsure whether he will be wearing red or blue in the New Year.
“I am closing a deal with an English club. I will play in Manchester in January” he said.
The 27-year-old scored against Chelsea last month and is regarded as one of the top strikers in Europe right now.
He seems desperate to prove himself in one of the biggest leagues in the world and knows that he is in his best years as a player right now.
Shakhtar are sure to be reluctant to tell the Brazilian however, and it might take a big transfer fee for City or United to land the forward.
