Swiss newspaper Blick has suggested that Bayern Munich are ready to cash in on midfielder Xherdan Shaqiri.
The highly rated footballer appears to have set his sights on leaving the Alianz Arena, with the likes of Liverpool, Manchester United, Juventus and Wolfsburg showing interest in his services.
And while it was believed that Bayern’s asking price stood at €20 million, Blick has suggested an offer in the region of €12.5m would be enough to prize the Switzerland star away from Munich.
Xherdan Shaqiri has shown a great deal of promise since joining the Bavarians from FC Basel, but he never quite managed to nail down a regular starting berth.
Even with a number of starting midfielders out on the sidelines, the 23-year-old only started three Bundesliga games this term, while making another six substitute appearances.
Meanwhile, Bayern Munich have won seven league matches in a row and can be backed at 2/9 to see off Mainz as well.
