Luke Shaw is close to signing a new five-year deal with Manchester United, according to the Express.
Following a tough few years at Old Trafford the England international has impressed this season playing every minute in all but one of the Red Devils’ league games so far while he scored his first goal for the club in the victory over Leicester City on the opening day of the season.
The twenty-three-year-old is now set to be rewarded with fresh terms in a deal that will see him commit his future to the club until the end of the 2023/24 campaign.
In total, Shaw has played seventy-five times in all competitions for United since signing from Southampton in the summer of 2014.
Internationally, he has been capped eight times for England while he won his first cap in eighteen months in last month’s UEFA Nations League defeat to Spain at Wembley.
