Wolverhampton Wanderers are open to selling Dion Sanderson before the summer transfer window in England closes on Friday, according to The Daily Mail. It has been reported that Cardiff City and Sheffield Wednesday in the Championship are interested in the 20-year-old defender.
The report has claimed that Premier League club Wolves are open to selling the youngster this week or send him out on loan for the 2020-21 campaign. The youngster, who is a central defender by trade but can also operate at right-back, is out of contract at the Wanderers at the end of the season.
Sanderson has been on the books of Wolves since 2007, and although he is very highly rated, the young defender has yet to break into the Wanderers’ first team. The Englishman spent the second half of last season on loan at Cardiff, and made nine starts and one substitute appearance in the Championship for the Bluebirds, according to WhoScored.
