In a tough game at St. James Park today (Saturday), Premier League champions Manchester City were heading towards another win and aiming not allow table-topping Liverpool to pull away further than they already were, until this 88th-minute strike from former Liverpool player Jonjo Shelvey put a huge dent in their title defence hopes.

Meanwhile, Liverpool beat Brighton and Hove Albion at Anfield by 2-1 and are now 11 points clear at the top, at least until Leicester City play Everton on Sunday.
