Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport understands that Italian champions Juventus are keeping close tabs on Valencia defender Shkodran Mustafi.
The Bianconeri plan to rejuvenate their back line in the summer, seeing that Andrea Barzagli, Giorgio Chiellini and Leonardo Bonucci are all in advanced football years.
With Daniele Rugani the only young centre-back, they have decided to add at least one more talented defender to the squad.
According to Tuttosport, Juventus are set to make a move on Valencia stopper Shkodran Mustafi, who has already been linked with some of Europe’s biggest clubs.
Having shown a great deal of potential since stepping onto the biggest stage, the Germany international is widely expected to realise a big club move at the end of the current season.
The 24-year-old has performed admirably during the two years at Mestalla, and even managed to score 6 goals in 62 La Liga appearances for los Che.
