Sime Vrsaljko set for big club move

Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport has suggested that Sassuolo are ready to listen to offers for star player Sime Vrsaljko.

The full-back has been on the radar of Italy’s top clubs for a while now, but it looks as though he is finally set for a big club move.

Namely, with Juventus, AC Milan, Napoli and Bayern Munich all keen on Vrsaljko, Sassuolo will invite offers for their prized asset in the summer before selling him to the highest bidder.

The Bianconeri are currently in pole position due to their close ties with Neroverdi, but they, nonetheless, face a stiff competition for the defender’s signature.

Capable of operating on either side of defence, Vrsaljko has so far featured in 42 Serie A games for Sassuolo, earning 12 yellow cards in the process.

His suitors Juventus have been made 8/11 favourites to defend the league title after winning 12 Serie A matches on the bounce.
