Belgian goalkeeper Simon Mognolet is enduring a difficult couple of weeks at Liverpool.
Reds boss Jurgen Klopp recently confirmed that Loris Karius would be Liverpool’s first-choice goalkeeper until the end of the season and that he would not be rotating his custodians that much, sending a clear message to Mignolet.
The 30-year-old shot stopper is not happy with his squad status at Anfield and is expected to make a move away from the club at the end of the season.
Mignolet even changed his agent ahead of a potential summer move and several clubs have already been linked with his services.
Belgian newspaper La Derniere Heure reports that clubs from Premier League, Serie A and Bundesliga are exploring the possibility of making a move for Mignolet in the summer with Borussia Dortmund being mentioned as the most notable club.
The BVB have just extended Roman Burki’s contract last October but it is believed they want to increase competition for a place in goal by bringing a high profile goalkeeper such as Simon Mignolet.
