The struggling Bundesliga side FC Koln secured the first signing of the January transfer window.
The Billy Goats sit rock-bottom in the Bundesliga standings with only one win from 17 rounds and just 6 points on their tally.
FC Koln will not raise the white flag just yet and will try to reinforce during winter in desperate effort to turn the things around in the second part of the season.
With that in mind, the club management has already secured the first signing of the winter transfer window with forward Simon Terodde joining the Billy Goats from Stuttgart.
The 29-year-old striker already played for FC Koln between 2009 and 2011 and has now committed to a three-and-a-half-year deal that expires in June 2021.
FC Koln are convinced that as a player who knows the club and the philosophy such as Terodde will go on to become an instant fit in the first team.
The German striker will wear a shirt with No.9 on its back and will be given full confidence to help FC Koln gain footing in the league despite the club being top relegation favourites at 1/20 betting odds.
