Juventus are without the manager. Despite winning yet another Serie A title, Massimilliano Allegri is not the first team coach anymore and the Old Lady has started the search for his replacement. Gianluca Di Marzio is reporting that there are two main candidates for the position at this point.
The first is Lazio manager Simeone Inzaghi. They claim that Juventus’ sporting director Fabio Paratici already met with the Lazio manager last week, in Piacenza. It is a sign that Inzaghi is the favourite for the position, as coaching Bianconeri would be a unique opportunity for him. Inzaghi currently has a contract until June 2020 and all parties, including Lazio would have to reach an agreement before a deal happens.
The other favorite for the position is Maurizio Sarri. The Chelsea manager is under contract with the Blues until 2021, but Di Marzio claim that the club have already decided to change coaches and hire Frank Lampard from Derby County.
